The Vase Becomes the Flower

These new SHAC Vases and Foliage stamps are so versatile.  Here I turned one of the vases into a flower.

Stamp the sentiment from the SHAC Vases and Foliage set into the centre of a 6” x 6” white card blank in Black Soot Distress archival ink.

Cover the sentiment with the smallest circle embedder from the circles and ovals set.

Add the smallest solid vase from the same stamp set at the top and bottom of the embedder in Pink Peony archival ink.

Repeat either side.

Add stamping in between in the same ink using the same stamp.

Add further stamping in between the ‘petals’ in Blue Violet Archival ink using the same stamp but inking the reverse side to create bigger petals.

Die cut the Nested Circle Doodle Frame-Its Frames from black card and set the third smallest frame to one side.

To finish, remove the embedder and add the frame to the centre of the flower.
