Matching Panel and Foliage in A Vase

For this card I used the foliage to create a background panel and the vase and same foliage as a focal point.
Create a 3.5cm aperture using mask blanks across the centre of a 7” x 7” white card blank.
Blend Sap Green Archival ink through the aperture.
Over stamp in Black Soot Archival ink using one of the foliage stamps from the SHAC Vases and Foliage set.
Colour the foliage using Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer watercolour pencils blended out with a watercolour brush pen (#168, #174).
Remove the masking.
Stamp the tallest solid vase onto Clarity stencil card in Pink Peony Archival ink and mask it up.
Add the same foliage as before into the vase in the same black ink.
Remove the masking and add the vase pattern over the top in the same ink.
Colour the foliage as before and some of the vase in #133.
Die cut the topper using the 3.5” x 4.5” nested ovals die and a mat from black card using the corresponding picot die.
Blend round the topper in sap Green Archival. Add Payne’s Grey watercolour as before for the vase to stand on.
Mat up the topper and add it to the front of the card.
To finish, add the sentiment in the same black ink as before.
