WOYWW 723: Enjoying the Break

Welcome to my weekly contribution to What's On Your Workdesk, Wednesday? care of Julia and Stamping Ground.

I am getting into practice for my PIF ATC by taking part in monthly swaps on the Clarity FB page.  This month's theme is creatures great and small so I thought I'd break out the Africa stamps which I have.  Obviously I can't show you the results yet.  My new glasses case is in the background - I can now read tiny fonts and close work is no longer an issue.
As you can see, I hit day 100 on Monday with my daily drawings.  I couldn't see any other way of showing 'yellow' in black and white images.
My car is going in for a service on Friday and a hair appointment is booked for next Tuesday so it will be back to a normal routine next week.
Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

Clever drawing to show Yellow - I suspect a lot of us from that vintage will recognise it and be singing it in our heads right now - guilty as charged! Great news about your eyesight, you’ll have SuperPowers now!

I'm with Jan - humming tie a yellow ribbon as I type! Glad your eyesight is fine - what a relief for you. Enjoy your break. x x Jo

I love doing African themed ATC's = they lend themselves to some gorgeous rich colours for the backgrounds. Have fun with them.

Creative thinking, to put 'yellow' in like that and how wonderful that you are still drawing... one hundred days, that's a lot! Enjoy your new glasses, it's important to see well and you only know what you really missed when you put new ones on isn't it?! Enjoy your day, hug from Holland. Marit #12

Glad your sight has settled down ok. That rosebud drawing is exquisite and, like Jan, I’m singing the yellow ribbon song. I must think of something else quick or it’ll be in my ear all day.🤣. Hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday
Take care and happy WOYWW

Oh don't talk to me about new glasses. Just had my eye test at Boots. Wanted new lenses in my hardly used frames and that would cost £50 more than if I got new frames as well. How wasteful is that. And she was going to let me leave without paying for my test. Not a great experience. Sitting in sun waiting for my dance shoes to be heeled. Love your rose bloom. Hugs BJ#5

Hi Sarah. Some of those Clarity stamps look very familiar think I might have some, more guilty thoughts about stuff that hasn't seen the light of day for ages. Love the new drawings too. Wishing you a very happy belated woyww, Angela x7x

I was singing as soon as I saw drawing 100, totally got it, you are very clever. Thos Africa stamps are gorgeous. One thing about moving all my stuff is remembering things I had forgotten about. Chelsey's still in the 'people visiting to meet the baby' stage so I don't see her and Lionel very day. I prefer to visit on days I don't have to share!! With regard to the re-organising I'm getting perilously close to the 'why did I ever start this stage' but hopefully I can power through. Happy WOYWW, love n hugs Cindy xx #9

OOh don’t know where to start Sarah! Thrilled for you about the eyesight, my word at our age it’s absolutely marvellous to effortlessly be able to read tiny fonts and fussy cutting will be much less of a chore! That’s a vey comprehensive Africa set of stamps isn’t it, largely solids though…I guess a sunset background is as good as I get!! Enjoy the playing, these challenges are great for flexing technique muscles aren’t they. I’m currently trying steampunk as a theme. Trying being the operative word!!
