Floral Vase with Pastel Background

I went with pastel colours to create this pretty card using one of Tina's KISS Flowers stamp sets from Clarity Crafts.

Stamp the vase from the A7 Tina’s KISS Flower Great Day set onto the front of a 6” x 6” white card blank in Black Soot Distress Archival ink.

Add one of the inners from the A4 Oval Aperture mat, flip the card and use as an embedder.

With the embedder still in place, add the zigzag stencil from the basic backgrounds stencil set to the card and blend Spun Sugar Distress ink through part of it with a Clarity stencil brush.

Replace the stencil with the circle stencil from the same set and this time blend Tumbled Glass Distress ink through it.

Add the sentiment under the embedded section in the same black ink as before and remove the embedder.

Stamp the vase onto a scrap of Waimea Falls designer paper. Fussy cut and add it to the card.

To finish, colour with Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer water colour pencils, picked up from a mix mat with a watercolour brush pen (#129, #119, #170).
