Happy Bird Day

Using the block print alphabet meant that I was able to create my own pun to go with the theme of this card.

Mask off part of one of the Abstract Layout stencils. Blend Tumbled Glass ink through it onto a piece of Clarity stencil card using a Clarity stencil brush.

Add touches of Salty Ocean Distress ink in the same way.

Add two of the Wee Birds in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink.

Add a third bird from the Miniature Butterflies and Birds set in the same ink.

Trim the topper leaving a narrow border, mat onto black card and trim again.

Stamping directly onto the front of a 7” x 7” white card blank add Happy Bird Day in the same black ink as before using the Block Print Alphabet.

To finish, add the topper to the front of the card.
