Parchment Filigree Butterfly

I decided to combine die cutting, parchment and stamping to create this monochrome card.

Die cut the largest Block Print Nested Circle Frame from silver mirri card and a topper from black card using the 5” nested circles die.

Die cut the large 3D solid butterfly from a sheet of A5 black parchment.

Add the large Spread Your Wings butterfly wings to the parchment in Versamark ink and heat emboss with silver embossing powder.

Add the sentiment from the same stamp set to the topper in the same manner.

Cut the butterfly topper in half, cut a slit into the topper, push the body through and affix at the back.

Mat up the topper.

Stamping directly onto the front of a 7” x 7” black card blank, add the flower into the corners in the same way as before.

To finish, add the topper to the card.
