Fashion ATC and Card

I have recently started joining in with the Clarity ATC swap.  This is what I made for my partner in March.  The theme was Glad Rags and Handbags.

Cut a piece of Clarity stencil card to 2.5” x 3.5”. Add the small shoes in Black Soot Distress Archival ink and mask up.

Add two of the smallest handbags in the same ink and mask up.

Add the Tres Chic and Catwalk Fashion Statement stamps over the top in Villainous Potion Distress Oxide.

Remove the masks and colour the shoes with Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer watercolour pencils scribbled onto a Mix Mat and added with a watercolour brush pen (#125, #134, #135).

Colour the bottom handbag in the same manner (#247, #144, #110).

Colour the top handbag likewise (#120, #140, #146).

Mask up the images again and blend Spun Sugar Distress ink over the background to finish.

For the card, mask off a section of a 6” x 6” white card blank using the Fabric Fields Two Mask (#1). Add Spun Sugar to the 6x6 gel plate using a foam tool and stamp over the card through a swatch of Clarity lace.

Add the tiny figure stamps from the Catwalk and Tres Chic Fashion Statements set using Villainous Potion Distress Archival ink. Remove the mask.

Add lines to the edge of the inking with a purple Bruynzeel fine liner.

Add the Elegant Ladies #4 stencil to the card and blend Spun Sugar Oxide through the aperture.

Mask off all but the dress and add Worn Lipstick Oxide.

Add straps, a belt, shoes and decoration to the dress using the same fine liner as before.

Add the Wee Fashion Handbag in Villainous Potion Distress Archival ink.

To finish, add one of the Entwined Sentiments in the same purple ink as before.
