WOYWW 725: Pluses and Minuses

Welcome to the weekly sharing of desks with WOYWW thanks to Julia at Stamping Ground.

My desk shows the pile of Y8 assessment papers that I have brought home to mark.  Normally I would get all marking done at school but as the only day that I have a chance to mark is Monday and the next two are bank holidays I am focussing on getting books marked at work and bringing the easier to carry marking home.
The daily drawings continue.  This week has seen plenty of recorder playing for me as both Saturday and yesterday were afternoons with two different groups that I play with.
Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

Bit of a shame you have to bring marking home, but at least the papers aren't too bulky to carry.... hope you can enjoy the bank holidays without having to do marking!! Happy WOYWW Helen #2

Marking is such a time consuming job so it's good that you can do some at school. Enjoy those Bank holidays - boost your batteries for the rest of the term! x x Jo

Sometimes stuff has to be done at home. I think my pupils used to think teachers lived in the stock room, we don't have a normal life.....maybe they were right! Loving the new drawings. Have a lovely creative woyww. Hugs, Angela x8x

Loving the drawings . . . that 'hidden' one is just soooo typical!
I have found my descant recorder but not my treble one, I hope to try to show DX how to play . . . . we'll see . .
Have a good week and enjoy Monday

Good idea to get the marking out of the way so your BH are free! How lovely that you’re enjoying your recorder groups so far, what a nice thing to do at the weekend!

You bring back memories of boxes of marking (part assessed course) that I used to take to the caravan at Easter. Somehow it was easier to mark down there (Anglesey) and I worked school hours that first week and then enjoyed the second. Good luck with the marking.

Well I hope the recorder playing group time makes up for having to bring Marking home! So dedicated of you to make time to do Monday work at home rather than let the Bank Hols cause a hold up. Brilliant ideas with the prompts, I don’t know if the ideas take longer to come up with than they do to draw…they would in my head!!

Good morning, Sarah. Hope you enjoy your bank holidays.
I had to giggle at #112. I bet most of us here knew what that was but wondering how many of today's generation wouldn't have a clue. LOL Creative Blessings! ~Kelly #21
