Thinking of You

I used the worker stamps that come with the Tree stamps from the cut card kit to create a background for this card.

Die cut a topper from the front of a 6” x 6” kraft card blank using the 5” nested circles die and a mat from Clarity stencil card using the coordinating nested circles picot die.

Stamp the large bare tree from the Tree Cut Card stamp set onto the topper in Versamark ink and heat emboss with white embossing powder.

Add the boy on a swing to the tree in the same way.

Using the Trees and Meadows Build a scene mask add the second from the bottom to the topper and blend Black Soot Distress Archival ink below it. Remove the mask.

Add the fourth mask strip from the bottom and add the same ink, more lightly this time, below. Clean off the embossing with alcohol blending solution. Remove the mask.

Add the tiny squirrel at the bottom in the same manner of embossing as before. Add the swallow at the top in the same black ink as before. Mat up the topper.

Stamping directly onto the front of a 7” x 7” kraft card blank, add Thinking of You along the bottom in the Black Soot Distress Archival ink.

Create a background using the maple leaf and pinecone stamps in the same ink.

To finish, add the topper to the front of the card.
