WOYWW 646: Countdown to Half Term

Welcome to the weekly sharing of my desk with all the fine people who participate in WOYWW, led by Julia at Stamping Ground.  Please pop over to find out more.

Nothing much new on my desk.  I am between samples and the latest lot have already been posted off.  The daily drawing routine is still going strong and I am joining in with #inktober2021.

I had to honour the new shed roof of course lol.

This week is the last of this half term so next week I am looking forward to a week off and Tilly Tea Dance's workshop!  No meeting after school this evening for me but I do want to make sure that I have no marking to do over the holidays so it may be tomorrow before I visit.  Stay safe everyone and happy WOYWW.

NB I have been trying to leave comments on blogs and keep getting error messages so may not be able to this week.

Still am amazed at how you interpret those inktober's. You come up with some fab ideas Sarah and execute them brilliantly.
Enjoy next week, hope you make it with the marking so you have it free.

I’ve been getting stacks of error messages on Blogger, Sarah, on iPad, had to continually clear cookies and data caches which signed me out of everything and was desperately annoying, then the keyboard dropped away every time I made a mistake which was infuriating and eventually, I called apple. They told me to load up the latest software version and it’s all now fine. The apple people were not remotely interested in why it was happening once the new software update seemed to ‘cure’ it. Now, I want to know how long you have to think about these prompts before you come up with idea for the pic…..specifically I mean ‘collide’. It would never have occurred to me, not in a million years!!! Made me LOL!

Hi Sarah, fun sketches. :) I had to smile over the roof and that you are going to get to take the class in person. ~Stacy #21

When I get the error messages I normally just clear the history and that does the trick. Thanks for calling by at mine Sarah. I hope you enjoy your felting workshop...I have faith in Maxine.
I think I’m on a very slow road to recovery but I’m getting there.

Great drawings as usual, Sarah, my favourite being "Loop" this time, and you can keep the tick lol!! The roof was great - so nice to celebrate your new shed roof. I can't believe it's half term already! I hope you enjoy your workshop, and hope you share your makes with us.

Thank you for your visit - the butterflies will be winging their way to the USA and Lilian before long! I'm glad you liked my cards. I've struggled to get the die cutting properly arranged over the stamps when I've tried this in the past and Jennifer McGuire's tip really helped me with that. As I said, I'm new to this sort of crafting! Your mum's recipe sounds absolutely delicious! I'd love to try it if she was prepared to share it.

Happy WOYWW and meows and purrs from the little cuties,

Great drawings as usual! the one of the compass brings me right back to high school, where every pencil cases included a compass. And we got a new one ever year! And the tick - eeewww! I hate those things and I'm scared to death of them! Have a great week off, Lindart #23
