Birthday Feathers

I had fun making a birthday card combining the August 2021 Clarity New Design Club stencil with a die cut tag on a card.

Trim a piece of Clarity stencil card to 20cm x 13.8cm. Die cut a tag from the same sort of card using the second largest nested luggage tag die.

Add the tag to the topper using repositionable tape.

Lay the August 2021 Clarity club stencil (#87) over the topper and blend Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxides through the aperture.

Move the stencil and repeat the previous step twice more.

Mat both the tag and the topper onto black card and trim leaving a narrow border.

Add a sentiment to the tag in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink using the feathers stamp set.

Add the small feather from the same stamp set to the tag in a similar manner.

Add both sizes of feather to the topper in the same ink as before.

Add the topper to the front of an A5 white hammered card blank.

To finish, add the tag to the front, lining up the stencilling.
