Patchwork Christmas Background

I used one of the infill stamps from this 2-way stamp set to create a patchwork background for the focal image.

Stamp the Christmas Night infill stamp directly onto the front of a 6” x 6” white card blank in Stormy Sky Distress Oxide.

Add the same stamp a second and third time in Bundled Sage and Iced Spruce Oxides.

Repeat, alternating the colours, until the front of the card is covered with a patchwork background.

Stamp the outer Christmas Night 2-way stamp onto Clarity stencil card in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink.

Colour the sky with Stormy Sky Distress Ink and the trees with Bundled Sage Distress ink picked up off a blending mat with a watercolour brush pen. Colour the cross and the border with a gold pen.

Trim the image, mat it onto gold card leaving a narrow border, and add it to the front of the card.

To finish, add one of the Clarity Christmas & Celebrations words stickers.
