Abstract Background Special Day

I just love the papers that Sam Crowe has designed to go with her stamp sets and stencils.  Here I combined the Things To Do collection stamps and papers with one of Sam's fishy stencils.

Trim a piece of the Sam’s Things To Do paper to 6.75” x 6.75”.

Add random stamping to the background using stamps from the set of the same name in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink.

Add further stamping in Sepia Archival ink.

Repeat in Mermaid Lagoon Archival ink.

Add the spiral shaped stencil over the top and blend Weathered Wood Distress Oxide over the top in places.

Repeat with Tea Dye Oxide and the same stencil.

Add the topper to the front of a 7” x 7” black card blank.

Working on one of the pieces of offcut paper, add Things to do from the stamp set in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink, plus one of the Christmas & Celebrations Words stickers.

Mat the strip onto black card leaving a narrow border top and bottom.

To finish, add the sentiment strip to the front of the card.
