Two For One Die Cut Birthday Cards

I made two birthday cards from one die cut using Barbara Gray's trap the scrap method and the Clarity New Design Club August 2021 die. Here is the first.

Die cut the August 2021 Clarity club die (#32) from a piece of Toscana Designer Petite.

Trap the scrap from the die using a piece of double-sided adhesive measuring 8cm x 8cm.

Use the die for a second time on Clarity stencil card and fussy cut the letters.

Add the letters to the designer card.

Using the middle Nested Square Scallop Doodle Aperture Frame-Its die, cut an aperture round the first die cut.

Add the corresponding Doodle Frame-Its Frame over the top die cut from Clarity stencil card.

Mat the topper onto black card leaving a narrow border.

Stamp On Your Birthday in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink into a trip of Clarity stencil card 1” wide using the Entwined Sentiments stamps. Add a narrow border top and bottom using a black marker pen.

Add the designer card topper to the front of an A5 white card blank made from a sheet of A4 hammered card.

To finish the first card, add the sentiment strip across the card and trim both ends.

For the second card, trim the double-sided adhesive close to the scrap and add it to a piece of black card. Trim to leave a narrow border.

Add glitter to cover the adhesive on the front and burnish well.

Add to a 4” x 4” white card blank.

To finish the second card, add one of the Clarity Christmas & Celebrations Words stickers.
