50th Birthday Card

A colleague recently turned 50 and I am the go to person to make a card for everyone to sign.  Here's what I came up with using the Clarity Floral Numbers.

Die cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the 6” nested circles die and a mat from black card using the corresponding nested circles picot die.

Cut a fancy border from the topper using the largest nested circle scallop doodle frame-its aperture die.

Add 50 to the topper in Antique Linen Distress Oxide using the Clarity Floral Numbers.

Colour the images using Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer water colour pencils on a Clarity mix mat, picked up with a watercolour brush pen (#250, #168, #174).

Emphasize the numbers with the same number gold Faber-Castell Polychromo pencil (#250).

Add Happy ‘th’ and Birthday from the corresponding word stamp set in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink.

Colour with the same Polychromo as the numbers.

Stamping directly onto the front of an 8” x 8” white card blank, add one of the Calligraphy Clever corner stamps into each corner in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink.

To finish, mat up the topper and add it to the centre of the card.
