WOYWW 626: Enjoying a Week Off

Another week and we are already into June - 2021 seems to be flying by.  Welcome to my weekly contribution to WOYWW, courtesy of Julia at Stamping Ground.

As you can see, even though it is half term and I am enjoying a week off, nothing much has changed on my desk.  I posted off my third lot of samples in under two weeks yesterday so can't show those yet.  I succombed to another beautiful felt picture from Tilly Tea Dance but it hasn't arrived yet so will have to share next week.

On the other side of the desk, Eva popped over for a crafty visit yesterday.  We will be sorting our new season tickets for Stoke City tomorrow while they are still available at the Early Bird prices.  They will be even cheaper this year as we have five matches of credit from the 2019-20 season to knock off the price - not that they have increased in price for more than 10 years.  Can't wait to get back to a more normal Saturday afternoon.  I will actually be able to visit most desks today for a change as it is the holiday.  Only 6 more weeks after that until the summer holidays!!!  Stay safe and happy WOYWW.

Hi Sarah, glad you can craft with Eva again. My Mum and Dad used to love going to see Stoke city play (at the old ground), in the glory days of Stanley Matthews. Let’s hope they do better this season.
Thea is asleep on my lap at present. She’s been tested for a kidney infection this morning so she’s under the weather.
Enjoy your half term

A lie in suits you gal! So happy to see Eva too, and to read that you’re plotting football tickets again, it feels much more normal, and I really like that for a feeling!

Hi Sarah, I have to be honest I've been out Lol! We have a friend who is going into hospital soon and our little group of retired teachers just wanted to wish her all the best so we sat and had coffee but I'm back now. Pleased to see you having fun with your play mate. Wishing you a very happy woyww and a lovely week too. Angela x13x

Eva looks very glam sat there, seems a long time since we saw her irl.
So glad you are having a lie in for the holidays, I remember the first day of retirement when they all went back to school - it was lovely to turn over. Long way to go yet Sarah but one day it will come.

Hi Sarah! Thanks for your visit! I hope you are enjoying your holiday! Say "hi" to Eva! It must be so nice to have her back. We are still in lockdown, and all schools are closed until September. We should be opening up a little bit by June 14th. Enjoy getting back to your "normal" Saturdays! Have a great week, Lindart #30
