WOYWW 571: All Up in the Air

Welcome to my latest contribution to the weekly sharing of desks, led by Julia over on The Stamping Ground.  Next Wednesday sees the 11th anniversary of WOYWW, whether or not I will have finished some UFOs by then ready to share is anyone's guess.
I was busy batch making some cards for a colleague at work so I can't show you the finished items.  My large Clarity nesting die folder was on the table with my trusty Grand Calibre in the background.  Tom and Peter still keep me company and my shed diary is keeping me organised too.  Not sure when I'll finish visiting this week, as I have a virtual staff meeting later today and I am working from home today too.  I am in school again tomorrow, so hoping the weather is good enough to spend some time outdoors.  Happy WOYWW everyone and a shout out to Y7 and Y8.

Just about to get started on working from home, but getting the early desks in while I can.... really not sure if I'll get that colouring done so don't hold your breath! Take care and hope the virtual meeting goes well. Helen #1

So a busy few days ahead Sarah. I hope you can take your classes outside - how many are you averaging these days? I just don't know how you will cope if you have to have full classes and social distance - visions of a class at a time in the hall at school. So glad I am not teaching any more - it must be a headache - and a heartache too.
Hope you do get a ufo done, hope I do too.
Hugs, Neet xx 3

I hope that working in school is going ok, hopefully everyone is keeping safe. You have been busy in the shed, I haven't batch made anything and as for thinking of what to share next week, well, slightly hysterical laughter is all that's coming from the JanCave at the moment, lol!

Morning Sarah. Sounds like you are well organised with the new regimes! Well done. I think I'm very grateful to be of retired age, so nothing much is expected of me. Looking forward to seeing what you tackle for your UFO...
Take care. Stay safe. God bless.

A very tidy desk this morning Sarah, those little charms look intriguing. Hope you are not too crowded at School - managing to get outside must be a bonus when you can. I'm sure you'll find some kind of UFO for next week - see you then!! Stay well, stay safe, Happy WOYWW Cindy #24

You always seem to have lots of things on the go, unusual for you not to have a visible project for us today, so I cheated and looked at yesterday tags, they are fun.
Keep safe with your teaching tomorrow
Bless you

Sounds like you're getting a great balance between work and play. I hope you get your UFOs sorted for next week, I've declared mine so I can't back out now but I'm rather thinking I might struggle to finish anything - more for lack of inspiration rather than time!
Hope you have a good week, stay safe and well,

Good Morning (here) Sarah!
I'm curious about your Shed Diary. Is it "To Do" lists, just crafty projects or ideas or everything to keep your busy life running smoothly?

Stay well and Happy Wednesday.

We're finally cooling down a bit and it feels wonderful.

Hello Sarah! I totally forgot we don't celebrate Mother's Day on the same date. I too don't know what to do for my UFO for our anniversary. I am going to dig around today to find something easy so I can feel accomplished (hee hee). It's not like I have a shortage of UFOs it's just finding them that will be the chore! Thank you for the visit. Have a blessed day and stay well.

Well done working out your work schedules and so on, Sarah. It sounds pretty complicated to me! Glad you've got time to do some creative stuff as well. Thank you for your visit - when I'd posted that photo of my washing, I realised that right in the front in full view, is my enormous pair of support pants for my hernia!!! Good thing I'm not embarrassed about such things, but it amuses me that it's now out in the public domain across the whole Internet!! So glad you like the teddies I'm doing for my hubby. It's a fun project. I have to keep putting it away when he comes in but I hope to get some colouring done this evening. Lily and Ruby say meaow - they are washing each other on my lap at the moment and taking up the whole of my legs on the recliner so I'm typing all sideways with the laptop beside me! I've just re-watched the video of the day we brought them home at 9 weeks old and told them that compared with then, they are now two great lumps!

Happy WOYWW,

Hi Sarah, yep I am thinking its just a time thing that eventually they will let me buy more foam sheets ( but, it will probably cost more lol) so, we shall see. eventually I will get it done. besides the space saving I am hoping to cut down my hunting time for things having tools in consolidated storage. I like the perspective of the on the edge of the table shot too :) ~Stacy #30

Well I’m late so can be reasonably confident about the weather for you today! I have another teacher friend who’s doing week on week off, it’s a lot easier to keep up with her schedule! Batch making cards is definitely the way to go, do you do more than your colleague wants so that you have one or two in stock? I suppose if they’re a particularly bespoke design you probably don’t!

That's an interesting approach to school - week on week off -we still have to figure out something here, as Ontario is just starting to open up. Nice desk, I know the busyness is hidden away as you have been very busy! Have a wonderful week, stay safe, Lindart #31

Hi Sarah!

You are a very busy lady and probably one of the most productive on WOYWW. I think it is wonderful that you always have a shout out for your pupils! I trained for a teacher - I studied German language and librarianship, but then got a job at the university library and never got into teaching except occasional tutoring!
Hugs,
