WOYWW 570: Busier than Ever

Welcome to a very short addition to What's On your Workdesk Wednesday this week (join in with the fun HERE).

My desk photo was taken yesterday morning as I have nothing that I can show you today. Between working from home and getting some samples finished to catch the post later, it will be a long and hectic day.  I was just starting some tags yesterday (surprise, surprise) and had sorted out my chosen stamps and some inky copy paper ready to start.  Tom and Peter are still keeping me company and you can see my shed organiser which was a Christmas present from a crafty friend.
These are the finished tags which I will be sharing in more detail tomorrow.  The blog post is already written as I will be in school.  I may therefore not get round to visiting until the weekend.  A shout out to Y7 and Y8 pupils as usual and happy WOYWW to all!

I sometimes feel like I am the only other desker working (at a pay the bills job) although I know that isn't the case - so hope your day goes well, I am about to turn on the work computer... too early lol Love the tags! Helen #1

Morning Sarah. My word - it does indeed sound as though you are busier than usual! Hope you get everything done in time - all those goodies that are hidden beneath that page in your shed. Fond memories there of an afternoon well enjoyed!
Take care of yourselves. Stay safe. God bless.

Happy WOYWW. Thank you for working hard through this Lockdown. One of our granddaughters has been going into school for a couple of hours per day, as her mum is struggling by herself, and it has been such a blessing for her to have one on one time with a teacher. Love the tags. Great use of those papers. Ali x #13

Lovely tags and sounds like working from home and then adapting to going back to face to face would keep anyone busy. I'm amazed you still managed to finish your tags and remembered to take a photo of the desk.
Stay safe

Morning Sarah
You sound busy but glad you are getting some crafting time in too.
I've been into school over the last couple of weeks. We want to keep things as normal as we can for the new Reception children so I've been busy getting stuff ready. There's no one about, it's very strange. We have a hub school here for local children at another Primary so there's only about 3 people in doing displays and various jobs. It's nice to be out and about though.
Have a good week and take care

Hi Sarah, working during lockdown has kept me busier than when I go into the office, so I've taken a week off to recharge my batteries. I'm still amazed that so many of you turn inky papers into stunning backgrounds, mine just end up in the recycling bin! Have a lovely week and stay safe and well, Heather xx #20

Good luck tomorrow! It will seem strange going into school - and having to get up at an early hour and ready to get there. Don't know about you but I have worn a great mix of things that I would not let anyone see me in normally - me in stripey leggings!
Two more lovely tags - I so enjoy seeing them especially the ones on FB yesterday - thanks for showing the one with the legs on that I admired last week.
Take extra care and stay safe and well
Hugs, Neet 4 xx

Cute tags! I didn't realize you were back at school, all our schools in Canada are still closed, and probably will be until September. It looks like you have a nice project awaiting you! Sorry I missed you last week, stay safe, Lindart #28

I love your tags! The dogs are so realistic compared to many stamps on the market. And flying pigs... what a hoot!
I may have to get a picture of my favorite singer, George Strait.
Or maybe Tom Jones!! I seen him in concert over 30 years ago. Boy could he move!
Anyway, thanks for popping by! Have a great week!

Thank you for your visit, even though I put the wrong link in. I started to comment, then went to look at your other lovely tags, then went to Mission Inspiration, checked out Facebook, came back and the message had gone 🤣. Love tour Puppy and Flying pigs tags, also like the grey Zen one and the elf one. I nearly missed the mouse asleep! Have a good day tomorrow, Angela # 29 (updated link)

Hi Sarah, thanks for visiting - glad you like my inky kitchen paper. I've got quite a stash of it now - all delicious colours, and I should really start using them! When you apply them (I use gel medium) they feel almost like suede which is lovely. Some of my seeds have arrived now so I am hoping to get started with them. I'm glad you like my drawings too.

I'm wondering how many of your pupils will actually be in school. It surprises me that we don't seem to see any round here yet there are lots of schools and there must be plenty of Key workers. Loving your new tags. You take care and a lovely crafty week when you get the chance, Angela x21x

I am working remotely from home but rotate with other coworkers going into the office. My week is next week. I’m actually looking forward to using my desktop computer instead of the laptop that I brought home. I hate this thing! LOL. I’m glad to see you’re still creating! Dorlene #22

Hi Sarah, thank you for your visit. Really love your new blog format, VERY easy to read and great photos. I am having eye issues and some colors and small print are really hard for me to read. Your tags are adorable. Love that little row of houses Enjoy a good week and Stay safe.

Gosh you are hard working. my daughter reckons she is putting in more hours although she offered to go down to 4 day a week, she normally works from home when she is not flying the world. How are you finding the post in the UK here in spain we are led to believe there is a backlog in Madrid. Stay safe. Ani #11

Sorry for my (very) late visit Sarah, time seems to speed even in lockdown (and I got all occupied with some music challenge ;) I'm not back to work yet but hope I will be by the end of the month, as things 'open up'a bit here in the Netherlands.. we'll see how that goes... love the little drawings on your tags! Have a nice week, love from Holland. Marit #25
