Clean and Simple Pussy Cat Panel Card

Even though I only used some of the smaller stamps from this set on a large card, I still think it is an effective layout.  This one is for all cat lovers.

Trim one of the Waimea Falls designer card petites to 2.5” x 6.75”.
Using the smallest nested Victorian plaque die, cut an aperture towards the left hand side.
Cut a mat for the panel from black card (6.75” x 2.75”). Lay the coloured panel over the mat and line them up. Stamp the small sentiment from the Cat Nap stamp set into the aperture in Versamark ink and heat emboss with detail white embossing powder.
Add one of the individual cat stamps either side of the aperture on the coloured panel in Onyx Black Versafine ink. Heat emboss with clear embossing powder.
Colour the cats with a black Pitt Artist pen.
Add the coloured panel to the black mat, ensuring that the stamping lines up with the aperture.
Trim a piece of Clarity stencil card t 6.75” x 6.75”. Add the panel to the stencil card.
Add the stencil card to the front of a 7” x 7” black card blank.
To finish, add and colour the third cat above the aperture in the same way as before.

Lovely card, thank you for sharing your idea. My sister in law loves cats as I do and now my stamps have arrived I may give this a go for her birthday card. Enjoy your half term x

Beautiful card, would never have thought to doing that - i.e. cutting out a tag for an aperture ! X
