WOYWW 532: The Shed's Looking Blue!

Another week has flashed past and it is Wednesday again.  Once again I can't show you any actual projects on my desk as I am busy getting as many samples done as I can to take with me to the retreat next week.  This time next week I will be with Eva enjoying tuition from Barbara Gray.  I may be late joining in!  If you'd like to join in or see more interesting desks, visit Julia over at the Stamping Ground, where order is kept (except on her desk lol)!
I was busy writing up sample instructions and editing photos for future blog posts.  I though I'd show you some more alternative views of the shed as it went down so well last week.
Crafty friends are welcome to pop round and join in with the fun.
As you can see I have a new 'roof' on my shed lol.  #2 and #3 son sorted it out for me the other day.  It's actually good having the edge overhanging as it shades the windows when the blinds are open and the sun is out.  I am hoping that the rest of the shed will match the roof when I get back from the retreat next week.  #3 son has been charged with painting the rest of it to match the patch tests on the front while I am away.  I just hope the weather is good enough to get it done.
I can share sneak peeks of the samples for the shows that are on Hochanda at 12pm and 4pm today with Maria Moorhouse.  I was sent some dies to work with for the first time as people are away on holiday over the summer and I had time to do extra samples.  I will be sharing the full projects over the next few days so if you are interested please feel free to pop back over.
And finally a picture of the grand kitty Jess when she was smaller (although she's not that much bigger now).  She is coming to stay with us tomorrow for a few days.

What a wonderful shed you have girl! I'd go crazy in that much space. My little room makes me feel boxed in some days and it is considered a pretty good size I think.

As much as I am envious of your shed Sarah there's no way I could fit something like that into my garden with it being so small.. Maybe one day I can convert the garage after everything else that is falling apart has been sorted. I have two Son's but neither of them are as handy as their Dad used to be.
Have fun completing those DT bits and at the retreat, it's sure to be fantastic! Happy WoywW Tracey #14

I'm loving your shed and keep being tempted to get something like it but just wonder if the paper and stuff will be okay in the winter, how much it would need heating and that sort of thing. Loving the samples too. I noticed your journal pages and will have to go and have a look at those too. Wishing you a happy creative woyww and fun at the retreat. Angela x15x

A lovely makeover for your shed Sarah and I'm intrigued by the sneak peeks of your samples. Kittie's incredibly cute - Oreo would be very confused if we took him somewhere else to stay! I remember when we moved, he was very upset for two weeks! You can see the photo of Chum on Jackie's blog, if you're curious, not sure why it didn't show up on my blog for you (probably some privacy settings on FB): https://creatingwithoutcrayons-jackiepneal.blogspot.com/2019/08/am-i-back.html

Hi Sarah - very envious of all that space. Can you tell me what your stamp pad storage is and where I can get one.

Sarah Brennan said...

Nannywhitehair I have had them from various places. The one on my desk is a double storage ink rack from Inkylicious, but I also have ones from Clevercut and Candy Box Crafts.

OO la la a blue craft shed! So wonderful to have your boys pitch in on the project. I had to peek back at your old post with a tour of the craft shed because I'm that nosy!! It's fantastic. I don't have a door on my craft space as I have claimed a passage way in our house for a craft space. Some days a door would be quite nice, while others, I don't mind the family stopping by on their way through. I will have to give a tour one day. Your sneak peek is so pretty, can't wait to see them.
Thanks for the visit. I know my son is fine, I am the big baby about this stuff. I just want to snuggle him forever but I know that's not happening! Have a blessed day my friend!

It's lovely to see your fabulous craft space - what a great place to create in, and it's going to look very stylish when it's had it's blue paint job done. Your sneak peeks look very intriguing and I love the pic of the kitty - what a little cutie, I hope you have a lovely time with her.
Have a great week and many thanks for your visit to my blog and your kind wishes,

Love Jess, your grand kitty - she looks so cute in that photo. Lucky you getting to cat sit.
Am loving the shed shots. That table looks massive! Much bigger in this shot than any of the others I have seen you post. Now I cannot wait to see the new blue craft room (tried to think of a word beginning with a "B" but failed). You will show us as soon as it is finished won't you?
Enjoy the retreat!
Hugs, Neet 1 xx

Awww Sarah, little Grandkitty Jess is utterly adorable! If I came over you'd have to check my bag to see if I'd pinched her! Your shed looks amazing. Does it get very cold in the winter or have you got lots of insulation? Your samples are looking great. Thank you for your visit and for your encouragement re standing up about my scan. The whole thing made me feel quite uncomfortable - if I hadn't made a fuss, I'd have been called back for a further scan, no doubt. Still haven't heard anything so I expect it will be a while. Sorry to hear about your hubby's back troubles and I hope his scan will give them something to go on regarding treatment. After all the scans I've now had, I should be glowing in the dark!!

Happy WOYWW,

I was beginning to think it was actually a tardis, but the sideways view shows that it is actually as big as it looks from the inside!! How marvellous too, I like it when I go away and come back to find jobs like that done! It will look lovely, such a nice choice of blue. I know you’ll have a marvellous time at the retreat, how exciting, look forward to hearing all about it when you’re back. Or indeed if you can make time next week!

Hi Sarah, wow you certainly do have a nice big crafting shed! It's so bright and airy - far better than my spare bedroom that does not seem to get much sun at all. I'm hoping I can get a day off work to come and craft with you at half term, but we are quite busy with a new contract at the moment, so I'll have to wait and see. Have a lovely week, hugs Heather xx #25

The shed looks good, Sarah! The dies you've been cutting are very intricate, so I'm sure your cards for the shows will be stunning. Jess was a very cute kitty, and I'm sure you'll enjoy him when he visits. Thanks for your visit to my blog and happy belated WOYWW!

Aaw! What a pretty little kitten. She could prove to be a great distraction while visiting. It's purely coincidental but hubby is planning to paint his managed - blue! Have a great week. Elizabeth x #23
