Masking and Mixing Stamps to create a Logo

My brother is the musical director of the Cranbrook Community & Youth Orchestra in British Columbia, Canada.  He asked me to make a logo for the orchestra.  I immediately thought of using the Mountains & Hills mask from Claritystamp in some way, as Cranbrook is in the Rockies.  This is the end result, with help from my sister-in-law Pat Brennan who added some final digital tweaks.
I worked on a piece of Clarity stencil card cut in half (3.5" x 7").  I started by brushing Midnight Blue Artistry ink across the top of the card with the Mountains & Hills mask in place.
Next I added the surround to one of the mini moon masks and pounced white acrylic paint through the aperture.
I wanted to morph the In the Bleak Midwinter music stave with the Tree Row stamp (both by Claritystamp).  The music stave was masked off before ink was added and the masking removed before stamping.  I used Onyx Black Versafine ink.

Once I had lined up the Tree Row stamp with the music I added that in the same ink.
Next, I continued the music stave lines across the trees.
The mountains were coloured in using a violet water colour pencil blended out with a water brush.  I also used the pencil to extend the music stave.
My brother loved the idea but wanted me to remove the key signature as the # was not in the correct place.  I did so using a white acrylic paint pen and also wrote in the name of the orchestra on the extended lines.
My sister-in-law Pat (Moonmomma) Brennan kindly tidied up the image and also the handwriting using her digital expertise.
I sent both images to my brother and they have chosen the digitally written version as the logo.

Hi Sarah, love the way you have adapted the stamps but it was the name Cranbrook that rang a bell with me. I checked my family tree & it was my Gt aunts nephew who lived there until he died in 2008 & his son Glen still lives there. Norman Gill was School principle in Fernie for a while before returning to Cranbrook. Just found his obituary on the internet !! I checked the website out & the artwork looks good.
