Gel Plate Stencil and Stamp Combination

I used a combination of gel printing and stamping to create this birthday card.  The new 3 way overlay stamps from Clarity are inspiring and the designs are available as dies and stencils too.
I started by adding Mermaid Lagoon and Faded Jeans archival ink to my 6" x 6" gel plate, which was attached to my 7" x 7" Clarity mega mount.  I stamped the #2 3 way overlay stamp onto the plate and pulled a print onto 7" x 7" Clarity stencil card.  Of course at this point I realised that the words came out backwards lol.
I decided not to give up.  Instead I added the Clarity Dotty Wave stencil to the gel plate, went over it with the same colours of Distress Archival inks, removed the stencil and stamped over the first image.
I then trimmed back the card.
To create the card front, I sprayed Isopropyl Alcohol over the stencil and pulled a print onto a 7" x 7" card front.
The Be Still and Listen outline stamp was stamped onto stencil card in Cobalt Blue Archival ink.
I added the #2 stamp in Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink.
I then went over the background using the third stamp in the set and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide.  I deliberately didn't press in the middle to create the effect of sunlight in the background.
This panel was trimmed back and added to the dotty topper, covering up the backwards stamping.  I then went round the edge of the topper with a dark blue ProMarker and added it to the card front.
To finish, I stamped Happy Birthday in Cobalt Blue Archival ink.  Happy is from Mini Word Chains 1&2 and Birthday comes from Mini Word Chains 3&4.

Thanks for sharing your project, even your oops moment as I am sure that is something I would do. I wonder if you could use a 2nd Gellie plate to pull the 1st print ?
