A Rainbow of Ballet Dancers

I can never resist a rainbow theme and this ballet dancer stamp from the Nutcracker stamp set was perfect for it.

Draw a pencil line 2” from the bottom of a 7” x 7” white card blank.  Add the ballet dancer outline stamp onto the centre of the line in Jet Black Archival ink.

Add further dancers at either side in the same ink until there are seven in the row. Erase the pencil line.

Add the dress insert to the centre dancer in Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide.

Add the dress to the dancers either side in Mustard Seed and Salty Ocean Distress Oxides.

Work outwards in Carved Pumpkin and Chipped Sapphire Oxides.

Finish with Festive Berries and Wilted Violet Oxides.

Add a quote stamp from the Celebrations 1 set in Jet Black Archival ink.

Colour the dancers’ shoes to match the dresses using Distress markers.

To finish, add snowflakes and swirls to the background in Jet Black Archival ink.
