Dotty Christmas Tree

I used the last Clarity New Design Club stencil of 2024 to create this Christmas card.  I put my own spin on Jane Telford's project.

Cover a piece of Clarity stencil card with Peeled Paint Distress Oxide using a foam tool.

Lift colour using a damp paper towel through areas of the December Clarity Club stencil (#217).

Add Forest Moss Distress Oxide to the background through sections of the same stencil, then add Bundled Sage Oxide in a like manner.

Continue using Tea Dye Oxide, followed by Vintage Photo Distress Oxide.

Finish the background with Scattered Straw Distress Oxide.

Add the whole stencil to the topper and drag Dreamweaver gold embossing paste through the apertures. Allow to dry thoroughly.

Gently add Hickory Smoke Distress ink behind the tree using a small Clarity stencil brush.

Blend Black soot Distress ink round the edges of the topper.

Add a couple of Pinky Gray Greeting stickers and go round them with a gold Pergamano gel pen.

To finish, mat onto gold card and trim leaving a narrow border. Add to the front of an 8” x 8” white card blank.
