Somebody tell me where 2024 went to please, I can't believe it is the first week of December already!
My desk shows some of the contents of the first Clarity Gray Day sale parcel which arrived last week. I have two more on their way and snuck in a last order on Monday before the sale ended - such temptation with the bargains. I am not spending a great deal of time in the shed at the moment. The ethernet cable is kaput and it is on the cool side. I still have plans to move into the house, but plastering, decorating and new flooring are required in the room I am moving into before I get that far. Will be a priority next year though.
As you can see, I have gone with a more festive theme and colour scheme for my #dailycollage2024 pages.I treated myself to a preloved descant and treble recorder last week. I spotted them on the SRP (Society of Recorder Players) FB page and went hunting for them on FB Marketplace. Ordered on Tuesday and arrived last Wednesday while I was out at work. They have a lovely tone but I need to play them in again as they had not been played for a while. I have ordered a maintenance kit for them from the Early Music Shop. They were an absolute bargain especially with the hard case and the seller threw in a piece of music as well!Hope to visit this evening or tomorrow morning at the latest. What an exciting post. New recorders sound fab and you will love playing them I'm sure. The prospect of a new craft room in the house is s lovely thing to plan and look forward to in the New Year. No idea where the year ent to. One minute it's August and the next it's December. Love the new journal pages and the new craft stuff but the recorder is just beautiful, well done at finding it. Happy woyww with hugs Angela x10x
Whoosh, it has shot by, can’t believe we’re in December! How lovely that you’re able to give those recorders a new home, bet the owner was thrilled that they’ll be played again rather than sat in a drawer!

Lovely set of recorders! Your dailies are also lovely, my favourite this week is "All you need is Love"! It's been a long year for me, and soon we will be remembering the death of one of my nieces which happened just before Christmas😢. Hopefully 2025 will bring happier times. Ooh shame about your ethernet cable. Great find with the recorders though, I had NO idea there was a society. I used to play descant and tenor recorders when I was at school then moved on to tenor horn (much to my parents despair as I cycled home with one on my back from school club!!)
