An Arty Alphabet Tag

The latest challenge over on Tag Tuesday is Use Alphabet Letters.  A minimum of three are required so I used them to spell Art for a quick tag.

I created papers by dragging Distress Oxides (Peacock Feather, Picked Raspberry and Uncharted Mariner) across a large gel plate, lightly pressing Clarity BOW-WOB papers into the ink and taking a print onto copy paper.  By reusing the papers you create lovely colourful backgrounds which I used for this tag rather than the gel print.

Die cut a tag from Clarity stencil card using the largest nested arch tags die.

Add the coloured BOW-WOB paper to the tag with matte medium and die cut for a second time. I used a baren to ensure the paper was well adhered to the tag. Seal the paper with a coat of matte medium and allow to dry.

Die cut letters from Clarity stencil card using the Woodblock Print A4 Alphabet dies to say ART.

Add the letters to the tag.

To finish the tag, add three of Barbara's words stickers.

Wow absolutely brilliant take on Sandie's theme Sarah. I love the colour mid and the arch shape! Thanks for playing along with us at Tag Tuesday.
