Today is a Good Day for a Good Day

I really like these quote postcards from Clarity Crafts and couldn't resist using another one as a topper on a card.  This time I stencilled the background rather than stamping.

Die cut the nested rectangle doodle frame-its frames from silver mirri card and set the third largest to one side.

Use the film strip nested frame-its edger die ½” from the right-hand side of the front of a 7” x 7” black card blank.

Add a 7” x 1” strip of silver mirri card to the edge of the inside of the card.

Trim the Today is a good day for a good day Clarity Quote postcard at the top and bottom, so it measures 6” x 5”.

Add the heart stencil from the Basic Backgrounds stencil over the top and blend Pink Peony Archival ink through sections.

Replace with the stripes stencil and add French Sap Green Archival ink.

Replace with the circles stencil and add French Ultramarine Archival ink.

Add the frame to the postcard.

To finish, add the postcard to the front of the card blank.
