New Baby Card

This card was made quite some time ago for a colleague who was on maternity leave.

Stamp the rocking horse from the Adorable Baby set from Clarity Crafts into the centre of a piece of stencil card in Black Soot Distress Archival ink and mask it up.

Lay one of the abstract layout stencils over the top and blend Bundled Sage and Squeezed Lemonade Distress inks through the apertures.

Add the Adorable sentiment as well as A New Arrival from the stamp set of the same name in a like manner to the horse. Remove the mask.

Colour the horse using Faber-Castell Polychromos (#270, #271, #272, #273, #274, #104, #102, #181, #187, #188).

Mat onto Indian Summer Companion Paper and trim leaving a narrow border.

Add a second mat using Shenandoah Companion paper.

To finish, add to the front of an 8” x 8” white card blank.
