Just A Note: Star Flowers

I went with partial art rather than using the full image using the star flower stamps and stencils from Clarity Crafts.

Trim a piece of Clarity stencil card to 6.5” x 6.5”. Mask off the top and bottom leaving a 2” aperture along the topper.

Add the top of the A5 Star flower stamp into the aperture multiple times using Black Soot Distress Archival ink.

Add the three infill flowers in French Ultramarine, Pink Peony, and Chrome Yellow Archival inks. Remove the masking.

Add lines along the upper and lower edges of the panel using a black Posca pen.

Die cut an aperture above and below using one of the doodle frame-its apertures dies.

Stamp the Sending a Note stamp from the special day sentiments onto a small piece of Clarity stencil card in the same black ink as before.

Die cut an aperture frame using the second smallest nested square heart doodle aperture frame-its die.

With the die back in place, lay the A5 Star Flower stencil over the centre and blend French Ultramarine, Pink Peony, and Chrome Yellow Archival inks through the flower heads.

Die cut a mat from black card using the 3.75” nested squares picot die and mat up the sentiment topper.

Add the large topper to the front of a 7” x 7” black card blank.

To finish, add the sentiment topper.
