WOYWW 751: Poorly Car

Well it has not been a great week since I last joined in with Julia at Stamping Ground for WOYWW.  The engine management light came on in my car on my way to the open morning at school on Saturday morning so I had to get a lift and the car is going in for a diagnostic this afternoon (Tuesday as I write) to see what needs doing.  Keeping everything crossed it won't cost too much or I will be looking for a new car to put the repair money towards.

My desk shows all the early Clarity New Design Club stamps that were part of the estate sale that I picked up.
My drawings this week have been kept quick and simple out of necessity this week.  I must admit that I can't wait until the weekend and the start of half term.  I have a full day felting class with Tilly Tea Dance on Saturday.  Hopefully the car will be back in use otherwise hubby will be giving me a lift there and back.  Stay safe everyone and Happy WOYWW.
UPDATE: After the repalcement of a wire and the diagnostic run for a second time, all well again.  Total cost £60.

Have a great time at Tilly's workshop, and then half term (it's this week down here)
Was starting my comment whilst still reading - so scrapped the original bit about the car - glad it hasn't cost too much to fix!

Your car repair was a lot cheaper than mine!! But it’s a lot less than buying a new car so we’re happy. Hope you have a great time at the workshop!!

That wasn't too bad at all, pleased you've got the car back and I bet hubby is too. Have a lovely time at Tilly's. I bet you're ready for half term, I don't think they start here until friday. I'm feeling guilty as I have loads of Clarity stamps all boxed away that no longer see the light of day. I loved them for a long time but then just moved on. I'll get them out some time so you can see what I've got. Have a great week and a very happy woyww, Angela x10x

That was a big 'Phew' with regards to the car. Battles on for a while yet hopefully. Ours was the same, money spent on it now means we have to start thinking about changing maybe.
Gosh, what a lovely lot of stamps you got, that certainly was a happy day.

Gosh Sarah, so pleased with the outcome of the car diagnostic, it really is a worry isn't it, when you think you may be facing a big expenditure without some sort of warning to get you used to the idea...takes us months!! Hope half terms is a good break, you're a week later than this area, y teacher friends away with me at the 'retreat' spent the first day relaxing and napping; such a hard working job.

Glad to hear your car was fixed at such a reasonable price. My last MOT and fix was nearly a grand but we keep on fixing her!!! We're in half term now, but I thought others might be a week later, still not got around to booking a reading programme again with all I've been contending with lately. Love the stamp of the row of houses, so cute and super drawings as always. Hugs BJ#13 late as usual!

Good to hear the car didn't cost an arm and a leg! And a whole day crafting sounds like fun! My fav drawing this week is "plump"- not what I usually think of when I hear that word, I usually think of my belly! LOL! Thanks for your visit, have a great week, Lindart #18

Hi Sarah!
Great news on the car! Do you have mice there? When we had the bravada, there was something about the wiring harness they just loved. After the second repair bill Bob traded it in for my truck. We've never had a problem since.
