WOYWW 620: Deja Vu All Over Again

Well the break seemed to fly by and I am back to the grindstone once more.  Also joining in. as I do each Wednesday, with Julia and the gang in WOYWW c/o Stamping Ground.

There is a sense of deja vu with my desk.  Apart from sample making and my daily drawings there has not been a great deal of activity in the shed.

The garden is coming on after a second weekend with skip and hired woodchipper.  We actually have an area where we can sit out now and the pile of wood chips is growing.  #2 son and a friend came and helped us out so our job this coming weekend is to get rid of as much of the foliage as possible that has already been cut down and wasn't suitable for woodshipping.

The latest drawings as I missed sharing them last week.  I have booked my second vaccination for 2nd May so I will have the bank holiday to recover if I get a bad reaction for some reason.  I won't be able to visit this evening as we have a Twilight INSET session after school until late, but I'll be round in the morning.  Stay safe and Happy WOYWW.

Had my second jab yesterday and got a slight sore arm but nothing to moan about. Fingers crossed for no reaction.
Great work on the garden, wish we could chop some trees down as we have loads but they all have preservation orders on them. You will feel the benefit when the sunshine comes back and you have it streaming onto your ground.
Great drawings as always.
Sorry you are back in school, stay safe and well.
Hugs, Neet 7 xx

You’ve done a great job of clearing the garden and at least the weather’s lovely enough for you to sit out already! I’m glad you’ve got your second jab booked, we’re still waiting to hear but hopefully not too long now.

Glad you gave your second jab booked, Sarah, mine is this Friday.
You’ve done a lot of work in your garden. I love to see your daily drawings, I think my favourite is the challenge one.
Take care and happy WOYWW

Great work in the garden, you will so pleased when it’s all done. The dreaded bindweed has come back as usual, it’s so hard to keep on top of it when we are away for several months. Our second jab is the 8th May. Happy WOYWW and have a great week Angela #3

Great news on the second jab, I've finally got my first booked in. It's amazing how much "stuff" we create when clearing the garden isn't it?! I'm sure it grows when we cut it for removal! Stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #5

I know what you mean about the grindstone - wouldn't it be nice to be retired? We of all people would know how to occupy ourselves, wouldn't we? Great your ideas for the new sketches - and lovely transformation of your garden. It will get warm enough soon to sit outside. Happy WOYWW! xx zsuzsa #15

Sarah, I always love your inks. I really like the flourish and the "challenge" this week! Don't know if I could do it, so it DEFINITELY would be a challenge! LOLOL Your garden area is lovely and would definitely be somewhere I could hang out for luncheon or a cup of Joe in the morning! So nice that you have folks to help you out!! Blessings for the rest of your week! Felicia #21

Second jab booking is a really positive thing isn’t it. You’ve done some great day drawings, love the flourishes, and the perspective on the buildings ‘on location’, really clever. Great work in the garden, I know it’s been really quite cold on some days, but better now than when it’s so warm you just want to be sitting in that lovely spot. You’ll wonder how you spent a summer without it!

Lets hope we get some nice weather so you can make the most of the garden. I can tell you I don't miss those Inset sessions but hope you find it useful. You take care and have a very happy creative woyww, Angela x12x

Great drawings as always, Sarah. My favs this week are Flourish and Challenge. It looks as if you've been working hard on your garden, too. Your garden umbrella looks intriguing and I'm not quite sure how that works! Perhaps you'll show us some photos with it put up one day.

Thank you for your visit. The shameless hussies certainly know how to relax and need to take lessons from the Queen on how to keep those legs together and behave like elegant ladies! (Fat chance of that...) There will be more shameless husseyism next week too. I'm glad you enjoyed seeing my outdoors photos this week. Such a lovely outing to Babbaombe - only a few minutes by car from home!

Happy belated WOYWW,
Shoshi x #20

Hi Sarah looks like a lot to do in your garden. We are trying to do a bit here and there, takes us longer these days. Glad your second jab booked. We have had both now. Hope it works if we get it. :-(
Take care, stay safe. Anne x 18

Gardens are very clever at overgrowing without you noticing! At the moment my back garden has bedding plants on the table and chairs and every day I plant them in baskets and pots and there still appears to be the same amount of plants waiting to be repotted...and every evening they all have to come in and take up more space in the living room! (Personly I think they like watching telly!) Your pictures are coming on and yes....I if the frog story ever gets the nod to be made into a book....I'll send you a copy! And as the frogs would say, Read it Read it Read it! I'll say, Happy Late WOYWW!
