Celebrating 100 Marathons

My sister recently achieved the goal of running her 100th marathon.  She was originally planning to achieve this on our birthday last year, but unfortunately COVID put paid to that.  I am so proud of her achievement - this is the card I made to send to her.
Trim a piece of Clarity stencil card to 4.75” x 6.75”. Stamp the rope corner from the SHAC Holland stamp set into two corners in Monarch Versafine Clair ink. Colour the corners with Faber-Castell Polychromos.
Using the laurel leaf stamps from the Sports stamp set in Brilliance Galaxy Gold ink and numbers from the 2-way alphabet and numbers set and the small -th from Barbara’s Months and Numbers set in Monarch Versafine Clair ink, add 100th in the centre of the card. Emboss the leaves with Detail Bright Gold embossing powder.
Add the word Marathon underneath using the same 2-way stamp set as before in the same ink.
Add ‘Just A Note For You’ into each open corner in the same Versafine Clair ink using Art Nouveau sentiments.
Add ‘With Love On Your’ above the number using stamps from the Entwined Sentiments and sister below using a stamp from Barbara’s Relatives as before.
Add Fossilized Amber Distress ink through the Christmas Stars stencil.
To finish, mat onto gold card leaving a narrow border and add to the front of a 7” x 5” white card blank.
Many congratulations sis.
