Fly Free Forever: Tag Challenge

The prompts for the April Tag It Tuesday challenge were:  Blow paint or ink with a straw, print and attach something from your computer, add some tulle or netting and add a paper clip.  The colours to use were Yellow and Violet.  As you will see I followed all the prompts.

Add Wilted Violet and Mustard Seed Distress Oxides to a glass mat, spritz with water and mop up with a paper towel. Once dry, add the top layer to a #8 manilla tag, seal with matte medium, dry and trim the excess.

Add two drops of Ultramarine Violet Amsterdam Acrylic ink to the tag and blow the ink about with a straw.

Cut out some butterflies and a dragonfly from a Clarity printed postcard.

Add a band of violet netting round the middle of the tag.

Cut yellow tulle and create a ribbon through the hole at the top.

Add the fussy cut butterflies and dragonfly.

Add a purple paperclip at the top of the tag.

To finish, add some of Leonie’s word stickers.
