Embossing Round a Word

I used one of my favourite combinations: kraft card and white embossing to create this card.

Cut a 5” x 5” kraft card blank in half. Cut a mat from black card using the 5.25” nested square picot die.

Add the Feel-Good Words Love mask to the kraft topper.

Stamp the large Trees Mixed Impressions stamp over the top in Onyx Black Versafine ink and allow to dry thoroughly.

Add the stamp again, slightly offset. This time use Versamark ink and heat emboss with white powder. Remove the mask.

Add the outline Love stamp to Clarity stencil card in Onyx Black Versafine ink and heat emboss with clear powder.

Add the heart criss-cross stamp over the top in the Mushroom Adirondack ink and fussy cut the word.

Add the fussy cut word to the topper, offset so the kraft background acts as a drop shadow.

Mat up the topper and add it to the front of a 6” x 6” kraft card blank.

To finish, add a couple of Barbara’s word stickers.
