Floral Birthday Card

I am still determined to use all my Clarity club items this year as they arrive.  For this birthday card I used the March 2021 stamp offering.

Cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the 3” nested square die and a topper from black card using the 3.25” nested square picot die.

Stamp the March 2021 Clarity club stamp (#173) onto the stencil card topper in Onyx Black Versafine ink. Add the butterfly from the same stamp set in the same ink.

Colour the image with Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer watercolour pencils blended with a watercolour brush pen from a Clarity Mix Mat.

Mat up the topper and lay it onto the front of a 7” x 7” white card blank – mark the edges.

Lay Jo’s Flower Power stencil over the front of the card and add flowers in Cranberry Crush and Apricot Nectar Artistry inks and Clarity stencil brushes.

Erase the pencil and add the topper to the front of the card.

Add Happy Birthday in Onyx Black Versafine ink using a stamp from the Art Nouveau Sentiments.

To finish, add the ladybird from the stamp set above the I in birthday and colour as before.
