Rainbow Bright Birthday Card

I am still determined to make use of all my Clarity New Design Club stamps this year.  I used two of the three from February to create this bright birthday card.

Make a mask for the Feb 2021 bird club stamp (#172) by stamping it onto copy paper, laying a blank mask sheet over the top and fussy cutting on the outside lines.
Die cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the 6” nested square die and a mat from black card using the 6.25” nested square picot die.
Lightly mark a pencil line across the topper 2” from the bottom. Mark the centre vertically and draw an arc from each side, peaking 4” from the bottom.
Stamp the bird from the February 2021 Clarity New Design club set in Festive Berries Distress Oxide at the bottom left of the arc.
Mask up and add a second bird along the arc line, this time in Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide.

Repeat, masking up the previous bird each time, in Fossilized Amber, Mowed Lawn and Mermaid Lagoon Oxides.

Finish the arc of rainbow birds in Chipped Sapphire and Wilted Violet Oxides. Once dry, erase the pencil marks.
Add clouds using the Clarity cloud mask and Moon Crater Artistry ink, added with a Clarity stencil brush.
Add the sentiment from the same stamp set as the bird at the top in Onyx Black Versafine ink.
Add Happy Birthday at the bottom using one of the Entwined sentiments stamps in the same ink as before.
Add colour to the birds using the corresponding distress inks on a glass mat picked up with a water brush pen.
To finish, mat up the topper and add it to the d=front of a 7” x 7” white card blank.
