Chessboard Card: Let's Break Some Rules

The Clarity chessboard stencil is perfect to go with the new Chess Silhouette stamps.

Lay the chessboard stencil over a piece of Clarity stencil card and attach it with a piece of masking tape to create a hinge.

Blend Moon Crater Artistry ink through the top of the stencil with a Clarity stencil brush, changing to Black Shadow over the board itself.

Add five chess pieces from the Chess Silhouette stamps in Versamark ink and heat emboss with red embossing powder.

Add three of the smaller silhouette chess pieces, but this time heat emboss in purple.

Add one of Leonie’s word stickers.

Add Happy birthday using one of the Art Nouveau sentiment stamps in Onyx Black Versafine ink.

To finish, trim the topper and add it to the front of a 7” x 7” black card blank.
