A Mother's Day Card

As Mother's Day is over and this card has been received, I can safely share it here.  I used a coordinating stencil to go with a new die to create it.  Sadly we were only able to meet up this year via video call.

Trim a piece of Clarity stencil card to 18cm x 13.8cm. Lay the A5 Floral Forest Frameless stencil over the top and blend Lavender Dash, Cotton Candy and Moon Crater Artistry inks through the stencil.

Cut the stencil into fours strips – three 5.5cm x 13.8cm and one 1.5cm x 13.8cm.

Use the February 2021 Clarity club die (#26) to cut an aperture from black card. Cut out the aperture using the 3.25cm nested square picot die. Cut a mat from Clarity stencil card using the same picot die.

Blend the same colour inks as before over the mat and add the die cut topper.

Mat up the stencilled panels onto black card leaving a narrow border all round.

Add the panels to an A5 white card blank.

Add 'on mother’s day' to the left over strip using a black Posca pen and mat it onto black card leaving a narrow border.

Add the die cut topper to the card.

To finish, add the sentiment strip.
