Magnificent Machines - An Art Journal Page

I am really enjoying keeping up with the monthly challenges over on Mission Inspiration.  This month's prompt was Magnificent Machines – cogs, gears, pistons, engines, levers & gadgets. The suggested colours were Berry Red, Cerulean Blue and Copper. The prompt techniques, to be included in any order were handwritten text, frame or border, fabric scraps, metallic paints, and book text.
Cover a double page spread in a handmade paper journal with Amsterdam transparent gesso and dry. Add Tim Holtz Terminology tissue wrap to both pages using matte medium, seal, dry and trim.
Add colour to the pages using Festive Berries Distress paint and Amsterdam Copper (metallic) Acrylic paint watered down a little.
Pounce Arteza Pearl Electric Blue paint through the Clarity clockwork stencil with a spot on sponge.
Die cut the Clockwork aperture die twice from Pearlescent blue card, cut them out using the 4” nested circle die.
Add them to the pages.
Pounce more of the same blue paint as before through the clockwork stencil in the top left corner.
Fussy cut a magazine image of a blue truck
and a copper coloured watch and add them to the page.
Cut a piece of organza and net fabric into the shape of a lightbulb.
Add the same copper metallic paint as before to a lightbulb shaped Pop-em from the Eureka set by Creative Expressions.
Add the lightbulb to the page over the layers of fabric.
Handwrite ‘Eureka’ with a white gel pen multiple times over the page.
To finish, add a doodled border using the same gel pen gone over with a black Posca pen.
