Clean and Simple Spotlight Birthday Card

I needed a quick birthday card so decided to use the spotlight technique with Distress Oxides to create a background.

Lay the jagged circle stencil (Framer Shapes 2) from Clarity over a piece of 7” x 7” stencil card and blend distress Oxides (Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers) through the aperture.

Add the brick wall stencil over the top and spritz with water. Lift some colour with a paper towel.

Trim the stencil card to 6.5” x 6.5”. Add the Cherry Green Funky Hare stamp in Onyx Black Versafine ink.

Add a sentiment from the Entwined Sentiments set in the same manner.

To finish, edge the topper with a black pen and add to a 7” x 7” white card blank.
