A Tree Frame Christmas Card

I played with pattern making to create a frame for a Christmas message using the Trees and Mantels stamps.Die cut a topper from Clarity stencil card using the 3.5” nested circle die. Cut a mat for it from kraft card using the 3.75” nested circle picot die.

Trim a piece of Clarity stencil card to 6.75” x 6.75”. Lay the circle topper into the centre and lightly draw round it with a pencil.

Stamp one of the trees from the Tress and Mantels set at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock round the circle in Vintage Sepia Versafine ink.

Add further trees in between the first in the same manner.

Add the mantels to the trees using Rainforest Versafine Clair.

Mat the background onto the front of a 7” x 7” kraft card blank.

Stamp Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Barbara’s Christmas sentiments onto the circle topper in Vintage Sepia Versafine ink.

Mat the topper to the Picot edged kraft circle and add it to the centre of the card.

To finish, add Perga glitter to the trees using a mapping pen and sticky ink.
