21st Birthday Card for a Son

Our youngest son turned 21 yesterday.  This is the card I made for him.
Trim a piece of Clarity stencil card to 6.5” x 6.5”. Blend Tumbled Glass, Twisted Citron and Mermaid Lagoon Distress inks all over the background.
Pounce white acrylic paint through the Haystack and Dotty Wave stencils in places.
Add Mermaid Lagoon Distress ink through the Fossil Stencil (NDSC #74) down the left-hand side. Reverse the stencil and add more ink down the right-hand side.
Add 21 using the large Papermania numeral stamps in the centre of the card using Black Soot archival ink. Colour them in with a black Posca pen.
Stamp Happy Birthday above and below in Black Soot Archival ink, using the Barbara’s Numbers and Months stamps from Clarity. Add ‘st’ in the same ink using the same stamp set. Add son using Barbara’s Relations stamps – also in Black Soot Archival ink.
Blend a little Black Soot Distress ink round the edges of the topper and add it to a 7” x 7” black card blank.
To finish, add faux stitching to the numbers and around the topper with a white gel pen.
