Girl Power Tag

Here is my contribution to the December tag challenge over on Tag It Tuesday.  The four prompts were 1) Use a doily, 2) Use sparkle, 3) Blue and 4) Add stars.  I actually used all four although a minimum of two is acceptable.
I had a piece of copy paper that I had been using to try out stamps at a recent workshop that I liked for the background.
Add a background (Dots and Spots large Grunge stamp in Midnight Blue Artistry ink) onto a #8 manilla tag. Seal with gel medium, dry and trim.
Add a small white doily (from happy mail), seal and trim.
Add shading around the doily and the edges of the tag with a Cobalt Blue Pitt artist pen and blend out.
Add one of the Christmas Paper Dolls by Tim Holtz.
Add shading around the figures in Cobalt Blue, blending out as before.
Add one of Barbara’s Word stickers and go round it in the same pen as before.
To finish, add white acrylic paint with a foam tool through the petite stars and dots stencil from Claritystamp. Go round the edges of the stars with a blue sparkle pen.
