I was reminded about some stamps that I bought in the Gray Day sale recently by a blog post from Barbara Gray. I decided to have a play myself on a tag.
Add a piece of copy paper used to clean up a gel plate onto a #8 manilla tag and trim the excess.
Stamp one of the padlocks from the Key to My Heart stamp set in Onyx Black Versafine ink.
Colour the padlock with water colour pencils blended out with a water colour brush pen.
Add highlights to the padlock using a white Pergamano pencil.
Add some of the cogs from the Clocks & Cogs stamp set in the same Versafine ink as before.
Add the Loved You Yesterday verse in the same ink.
Finish by adding further cogs.
I am not sure whether I prefer the tag with fewer cogs. What do you think?
