Using Part of a Larger Stamp on a Panel Card

Just because a stamp is large doesn't mean you have to use it all.  For this card, I masked off a section and chose a suitable area of the stamp to create a panel card for any occasion.
Mask off either side of a 4cm strip, 4cm up from the bottom of a piece of 7” x 7” Clarity stencil card. Stamp the top of the flower spray three times within the gap in Onyx Black Versafine ink. Remove the masks.
Colour the stems in dark green and the flower heads in red watercolour pencil, blended out with a large watercolour brush pen.
Add further highlights with a darker red pencil.
Add squiggly lines along the top and bottom of the panel using a black micron pen.
Stamp the Sending a little note verse from the special day sentiments onto stencil card and die cut using a small square die.
Use the fourth smallest picot die set to cut a mat from black card and mat the two together.
Trim the stencil card to 6.5” x 6.5” and mat onto the front of a 7” x 7” black card blank.
To finish, add the sentiment over the panel.
