I made this Thank You card for my parents who hosted us all over Christmas. We had an amazing time. It also gave me an excuse to play with my new Clarity Mixed Impressions Texture stamps which arrived shortly before the holidays.
I blended Festive Berries, Spiced Marmalade and Mustard Seed Oxides onto the A5 Greenery Nature stamp using foam tools and stamped it onto a piece of stencil card.
Next, I added the leaf which comes with the set in Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Copper embossing powder.
I turned the background 180 degrees and repeated the process.
Next, I added Thank (Word Chains 18) and the -s (Word Chains 17) into the centre in the same manner.
An orange watercolour pencil provided a drop shadow.
I trimmed the card back close to the edges of the stamped area and matted it onto black card leaving a narrow border.
This was added to the front of an A5 card blank made from hammered white card.
To finish, I added a sticker from the Clarity Christmas & Celebrations set.
