WOYWW 548: Chillax

I have been taking things easy in the shed over the last week since my last samples were posted off.  I am finding it difficult to motivate myself at the moment.  Eva was working yesterday too, so unable to join me.  Luckily some more crafting friends came to my rescue.  They came over bearing cake!
They wanted to have a go at making a card that I had made following an idea seen by another friend in a magazine (sorry don't know which one).
So in place of Eva I have a close up of one of the ladies doing the beading on her card.
Far more interesting desks than mine can be seen at The Stamping Ground, where we meet up with Julia each Wednesday to celebrate more than 10 years of WOYWW.  I'll be round to visit tomorrow as I'm off to work shortly.

I know that feeling all too well Sarah when you prepare so many samples it can leave you a little burnt out with no space for your own creativity. Glad you were given the gift of cake and company, it sure helps carry on the crafting.

OOOh Sarah that looks like a fantastic card idea. The beads are lovely. I might go cross-eyed if attempted so I will enjoy the one in your post.
I have had craft slumps quite frequently the past two years but I am learning to embrace them and I would have no problem if my friends brought cupcakes to me! The snow is still looking pretty and I am hoping to work on another craft project and procrastinate writing out Chirstmas cards! ha ha...Have a blessed day and thanks for the visit!

You are very fortunate to have Eva and other crafting friends to do things with, Sarah - I'm all on my tod! Thank you for your comment and so sorry to be such ages replying. I had to pull out all the stops to get the Tudor gown finished in time, and since Saturday I have been exhausted and not feeling well enough to do much, and only now beginning to catch up with myself! More news in tomorrow's blog post I hope, and some more photos!

Happy very belated WOYWW,
