Get Well Soon Floral Oval Card

Just to show how versatile these stamps are, I made a Get Well card to follow on from the sympathy card (see HERE) and the new baby card (see HERE).
Using the fourth largest nested oval picot die, cut a panel from 7” x 7” Clarity stencil card. Stamp the top flower head from Tina’s Flower spray eight times around the outside of the panel in Onyx Black Versafine ink.
Colour the flower heads with water colour pencils and blend out the colour using one of the large water colour brush pens. Once dry, add further highlights with a slightly darker pencil each time.
Add Get Well Soon into the centre of the panel using Word Chains 16, stamping in Onyx Black ink and heat embossing with clear powder.
Mat a piece of Waimea Falls Designer Petite card (5” x 7”) onto a piece of black card leaving a narrow border.
Add this to the front of an A5 card blank made from hammered card.
Add the oval panel.
To finish, ink up the same flower as before with Jet Black Archival ink. Lay a double piece of fusible film over the top. Lay greaseproof paper over the top and iron with a hot travel iron.
Fussy cut the image and glue it over the pink flower on the card.
