WOYWW 547: It Never Rains...

I'll be brief this week as I am still catching up with school work and sample making having been ill again at the end of last week (hence a lack of visiting).  I'd no sooner got over the flu symptoms than I was hit with a stomach bug, luckily of the 24 hour variety.  All samples are now posted and I have almost caught up with all my marking so time to join in with WOYWW and link up with Julia at The Stamping Ground to share my desk.  Great to see that Shaz is making such good progress and is out of hospital.
I was so busy making a new baby card for a colleague, that I totally forgot to take any photos of my desk until I was almost finished.  The new Dad is a Villa fan so the colour scheme was easy.
Eva actually made it over to play after an absence of a few weeks.  I thought I'd take a photo of her, as well as what she was working on, just to prove that she is still here!

She was stamping over previously created backgrounds using shaving foam, inks and stencils.  As you can see, she was far more prolific than I was in the time it took me to make one card.
This week I will be round to visit (honest), although it will be tomorrow morning as I am at work today.

Sorry to hear you got bitten by this awful bug again, it seems to get better then something else nasty seems to take advantage of us. I'm hoping i've seen the last of the horrible side of it, I really haven't got the time to be ill.
Good to hear you are caught up now and nice to see Eva keeping you company I hope there was a cuppa and maybe a biscuit to help you both on your crafty adventures? Take Care & Happy WoywW Tracey #4

Great that you can still get together with Eva despite being so busy and poorly at the same time. Just hang in there - a few more weeks till Christmas! Eva's shaving form backgrounds are similar to what you can get with acrylic pouring, and probably just as messy LOL. Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #20

As if the lurgy was not enough you have to have an extension of illness. Hope you really do feel better - no fun, ad having to teach makes it seem all the harder. You need to be on top form.
Good idea with the baby card - I would not have thought of that. Good to see Eva too - hope she makes the next crop.
Hugs, Neet xx

Hi Sarah, I hope this finds you feeling a little farther along the better side. :) and I had to smile that you made Eva the not so imaginary friend show off her smile too. ( it was something I read years ago that the people we talk to online for crafty things are all "imaginary" haha) (ok, its way early in the morning here at my house so, there has been no coffee consumed yet in hopes that I may actually fall back to sleep) ~Stacy #23

Sorry to hear you were struck down with a double whammy of lurgies, Sarah, but glad to hear the second one was so short-lived! Also, glad to hear that Eva was able to come over and play for a while. Lots of great activity there! Thank you for your visit and your kind words about my PIP award and the pants situation - here we go again lol! They really are hopeless... I'm glad you like my Tudor gown project - I'm making quite good progress with it now. Next step is the sleeves... That was so funny, finding Ruby on the chair and my hubby on the floor!!! They really do rule the roost!

Happy belated WOYWW,
