When I received the A6 stamps of Dee's newest friends to play with, I couldn't decide which set to use first, so I used all of them and made a concertina tag book.
Fold three pieces of Clarity 7” x 7” stencil card in half. Using the largest nested luggage tag die cut three cards (ensure that the left hand side is just off the fold).
Stamp each of the A6 Dee’s Friends characters onto the tag cards in black dye based ink.
Glue the tags together to make a concertina card.
Mask off the characters.
Add further stamps from each set onto each tag in the same ink and mask off.
Spritz the background with Milled Lavender, Wilted Violet, Victorian Velvet and Salty Ocean Oxide sprays. Allow the ink to dry, then remove the masks.
Add shading to the characters using sketching pencils ranging from 6B – 5H for different shades of black/grey. Use the eraser pencil where needed.
Add one of the small quotes to each page of the tag card and add a pencil shadow.
To finish the card, cut a piece of Toscana designer paper with the same die as before and add it over the front of the tag book. Add the name of each character using the small quote sheets and add pencil shading as on the inside of the card.
